For Parents

“The little things? The little moments? They aren’t little.”

– Jon Kabat-Zinn

Mindful Parenting Group

Ongoing Mindful Parenting Groups are an opportunity for parents who are interested in mindfulness to come together on a regular basis to explore mindful parenting practices, discuss how to make them real and learn from each other’s parenting stories and experiences.

If you would like to participate please send an email to or call 917-287-9273. Participation will be limited to keep groups small.

Mindfulness for Parents

The best way to teach mindfulness is to model it. This workshop was created to help parents develop their own mindfulness practices. Lessons will include instruction in meditation and other mindfulness techniques, as well as an introduction to the teachings of some of today’s most important experts in mindfulness and contemporary philosophy, including Jon Kabat-Zinn, Pema Chodron, and Eckhart Tolle. Participants will also learn how to really be in the moment with their children and teach them how to use age-appropriate mindfulness skills to cultivate their own happiness, self-esteem and resiliency.
